The Southeast Festivals and Events Association (SFEA) is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for Festival and Event professionals, or those that have interest in the industry, to earn a scholarship for attendance to the SFEA Conference. SFEA seeks to promote and encourage professional development within the festival and event industry. For individuals and organizations that otherwise may not be able to attend conference, SFEA is providing individual scholarships to a select number of applicants.

Application Criteria:

To apply for a scholarship to the SFEA Annual Conference, applicants must be eligible to demonstrate and document the following:

You must work and live in one of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia or be a member of the Southeast Festivals & Events Association.

Professionals must be willing to pay $150 and students $75 towards the SFEA Conference Registration Fee.

Applicant must not have received this scholarship within the last two years.

Applicants must complete the attached form in its entirety. (You may write N/A where appropriate.)

Selected Recipients will be notified by December 21, 2016 via email and a listing of names will also be available on the SFEA Website under its Conference Scholarship Page.

Those who apply and are not selected will still be eligible to register for the 2017 SFEA Conference.
