Boom Days Heritage Celebration is an annual festival held in historic downtown Fort Payne, AL. Boom Days celebrates music, art and heritage. The festival kicks off with an outdoor concert on Friday featuring Departure: The Journey Tribute Band and The Devonshires: Legends in Rock. The event continues on Saturday with several stages featuring over two dozen musical acts. The streets and parks are lined with arts and crafts, food, children’s areas and a cruise-in. You will even find the Imperial OPA roaming through the crowds with fire jugglers, mimes, stilt walkers and other various street performers. You can also visit the historic Train Depot, Wills Valley Model Train Exhibit or even take a tour through the Alabama Bicentennial Celebration in the Coal & Iron Building. The night culminates with The Guess Who rocking out on our Main Stage playing their hits such as American Woman, These Eyes, No Sugar Tonight and Clap For The Wolfman.
